Fiat 695 Tributo Ferrari is a scorcher

Ever thought the Fiat Abarth 500 Esseesse wasn't Italian enough? Ferrari work their magic to create the 695 Tributo.
The 695 Tributo Ferrari is a Fiat 500 Abarth with a little help from the boys in red. Power is boosted to 180hp from the existing 1.4-turbocharged engine, first seen in Fiat’s Panda.

Definitely more scorpion than panda, the Tributo 695 will have a paddle shift F1-style gearbox and with some exotic looking alloy wheels, the car looks ‘favoloso’ in Scuderia Red.
The limited edition model will also sit on tweaked suspension to cope with the extra power, expect it to be firm, whilst black leather and carbon fibre seats maintain a race-inspired feel inside.
Following the red theme, red Brembo brakes will be used for what promises to be a highly sought after model. Fiat and Ferrari plan to make limited numbers to cement the collaboration’s exclusivity with no exact figures or prices released as yet.
More information will be available once the Tributo 695 is unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.
