Humberside Police has taken delivery of a Lexus IS-F. Talk about things you don't want to see in your rear-view mirror
When it comes to police cars, ones with 5.0-litre V8s and top speeds of 168mph tend to figure quite highly on the "things you don't want to see in the rear-view mirror" o-meter.
This particular IS-F has just been delivered to Humberside Police as a replacement for the force's old Subaru Impreza. And as if the Lexus' potent performance wasn't enough of a deterrent to car crims, the police-spec car is fitted with £30,000-worth of on-board computers and communications equipment.
