Mercedes Benz joins the Ferrari party by building a new range of branded racing bikes and mountain bikes. Fitness not included.
Mercedes Benz isn’t as blatant as Ferrari when it comes to branding pretty much anything it can get its hands on. But the German firm has a dedicated Mercedes Boutique for customers who haven’t spent enough already on a car with a three-pointed star glued to its bonnet.
Just in time for Summer, Merc has introduced its new Mercedes Benz Bike Sports Selection – there’s one for every member of the family, so there’s no excuse not to hit the road. For a price of course…
The collection includes an aluminium framed full-suspension mountain bike for those with an off-road inclination, and a Limited racing bike which weighs just 6.9kg.
Prices start from €299 (£259) for a kid’s bike, ranging right up to €4,999 (£4,330) for the racer.
