Geneva 2009: MINI confirms One Clubman for Geneva
MINI has got in first with the Geneva announcements, with the not-at-all surprising news that there will be a basic One version of the cool Clubman launched at the Geneva show
The new MINI One Clubman sits at the bottom of the Clubman range, and is powered by a 95hp, 140Nm 1.4-litre petrol engine.
But although the 11.6 second 0-62mph time and 114mph top speed aren't likely to blow your mind, the MINI One Clubman's trump card is its great eco credentials.
Thanks to the clever MINImalism tech, which includes stop/start, automatic brake regeneration, the One Clubman manages 52.3mpg, and tax will cost just £35 thanks to CO2 emissions of 130g/km.
For the princely sum of £13,290, the MINI One Clubman sounds like a good buy. You get air con as standard and everything.

This is the MINI One Clubman. It isn't the most exciting, but it is very eco friendly and the order books are open now.
