Bentley releases new Grand Bentley teaser picture and video

To coincide with Bentley’s 90th anniversary, the Crewe-based firm has announced that its all-new Arnage replacement will make its debut on August 16th at the Pebble Beach Concours D’ Elegance in Monterey, California where the company is a featured marque. It’ll also be given a name for the first time, which is nice.

And as you can sort of make out from this latest teaser, the rear end of the new Bentley will we quite dramatically contoured and sloped. A bit like an old Daimler hearse. But we’re reliably informed that the new car is best described as “voluptuous”, and is designed to evoke the sentiments featured in this snippet from the Bentley press release:

“Cars undoubtedly have a personality to the real enthusiast, to whom they are not mere collections of steel and aluminium, but animal-like, show their spirit just so soon as the clutch bites home and feeling comes through to the driver…” - Sammy Davis, first Bentley road test report, January 1920
