Audi RS6 in Need for Weed Chase
Audi RS6 Avant driver is stopped after doing 133mph whilst carrying 870kg of hashish.
[See the latest iMOTOR magazine here] The heady combo of an Audi RS6 travelling at 133mph containing 870kg of wacky backy resulted unsurprisingly, in the driver being probably slightly high, and also arrested.
Spanish Police became suspicious of the 580hp, V10-engined estate car’s cargo as it zoomed towards Seville. Following the high speed chase, the driver fled on foot only to be apprehended shortly after.
In clear view of traffic cameras and curious police officers, the 27 bags of hashish worth an estimated £110,000 were clearly visible through the windows and were even stacked on the RS6's passenger seat.
This is a valuable lesson then- for drug dealers the world over. Audi’s RS6 Avant is neither spacious or fast enough to act as a rapid weed wagon, especially if you don’t have the mandatory blacked-out windows.
