New car finance deals from Ford, Volkswagen, Vauxhall and online brokers

At the beginning of July, we entered a new quarter and that meant manufacturers introduced new deals across the board. We've overhauled our whole page to reflect all the new offers. For our weekly update, we've focused on deals for three of the strongest choices in the supermini class.

PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) deals remain the most competitive route into new car ownership and with manufacturers offering 0% interest, deposit contributions and even the chance of driving away in a brand new car without paying a penny's deposit, there's never been a better time to buy a new car. There are also good old-fashioned cash savings to be had too.

It's not just manufacturers that are competing for your hard earned money and custom: we keep a close eye on the deals offered by online brokers, and have an excellent selection for you lower down the page that could see you saving thousands.

Still not sure what car to buy? Check out our best cars section to browse the top cars on the market today.

If you're after a Ford Fiesta (and a lot of people are, it's been the bestseller in the UK for years), you may be interested to know that Ford currently has finance deals on three Fiesta models, including the very well equipped Titanium model. If you go for the three-door, 123bhp 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol model on a three-year PCP deal, Ford will contribute £900 towards the deposit, leaving you with £3,684 to pay up front, followed by monthly payments of £169.

Ford is offering the car with the Convenience Pack, which includes keyless entry, starter button and power-foldable door mirrors with puddle lights for £125 instead of £450 if you go for the deal.

This deal on a 1.0-litre petrol, three-door Polo in Match trim works out at 47 monthly payments of £139 with a deposit of £2,439. You can also buy fixed price servicing for two years or 20,000 miles for £149.

The latest Vauxhall Corsa is a big improvement on the old one, meaning it's closed the gap considerably to the popular Ford Fiesta. To further tempt you away from Ford's best-seller, Vauxhall is offering £1,400 towards the cost of the deposit if you buy the three-door 1.4-litre petrol Energy model of the new Corsa on a personal contract plan. That leaves you with £1,699 to put down up front, followed by monthly payments of £149 for four years. At the end of the term you can pay the final payment of £3,776 or hand the car back to Vauxhall. The new Corsa boasts a large boot, a much-improved interior and is better to drive than ever before, making it worthy of serious consideration if you’re in the market for a supermini.

Land Rover deals

The Range Rover Evoque is five years old now, but the design has aged well and it's still a good proposition for those taking their first step on the ladder of Range Rover ownership. Land Rover is currently offering the 2.0-litre TD4 SE Tech auto model for £399 a month if you can stump up a deposit of £8,030. At the end of three years, you can return the car to Range Rover or pay £20,133 to own the car outright.

Mazda deals

We really like the new Mazda MX-5 here at Carbuyer, awarding the car 4.5 out of 5 stars when we reviewed it. If you’re in the market for fun, open-top motoring that won’t cost the earth, you should seriously consider the MX-5.

Mazda is doing its bit to help buying one even more appealing by allowing you to order one on a Conditional Sale deal. If you can stump up a 50% deposit, you can pay the rest in monthly installments over three years at 0% APR. Alternatively, the car is available on a PCP deal for a period of up to 37 months with no minimum deposit.

One of Mitsubishi's biggest sellers in the UK is their Outlander PHEV, which is now available with a £2,500 deposit contribution on PCP finance. The plug-in hybrid SUV is officially capable of up to 156mpg and emits 44g/km of CO2, meaning it's exempt from VED (road tax) and the London congestion charge. The car is also eligible for a £2,500 government plug-in car grant.

The manufacturer has also introduced deals across many other models in its current range, including the ASX crossove and the L200.

Every single model in the ASX line-up is now available with a £1,000 deposit contribution, meaning the entry-level 1.6-litre petrol model in ZC trim is available for £169 a month. We recommend going for the 1.6-litre diesel if possible, which is £200 a month, as it's more refined and economical than the petrol.

The SEAT Mii is one of our favourite city cars. We think it's more stylish than the Skoda Citigo, a car with which it shares many parts, and it comes with more equipment, too. The three-door SEAT Mii by MANGO model currently on offer comes with a 1.0-litre petrol engine, 15-inch alloy wheels and air-conditioning. The PCP deal SEAT is offering means they contribute £1,800 towards the cost of the car. A deposit of £160 leaves you to pay £160 a month, with an optional final payment of £3,294.
