Hyundai has released the first images of the new i20 supermini, ahead of its Geneva debut.

The all-new Hyundai i20 will be revealed at this week’s 2012 Geneva Motor Show, and these are the first pictures.

The new model is slightly longer than its predecessor and features new styling, higher equipment levels and lower emissions.

Four engines will be offered, including a new 1.1-litre three-cylinder diesel that is capable of producing emissions of 84g/km – lower than any other conventional powered car on sale.

A further 90bhp 1.4-litre diesel engine will also be available, capable of producing emissions of 96g/km.

The new i20 will be sold with Hyundai’s Five Year Triple Car Warranty. Full prices and specs will be announced nearer to launch.
