Miniature cars available to buy now from selected BMW dealerships.

Fancy a new BMW convertible, coupe or SUV, but don’t want to pay upwards of £29,000? These new scaled-down, radio-controlled versions cost only a fraction of that amount.

Four models are currently available: the Z4, X5, X6 and a 6 Series coupe. The blue Z4 roadster is a 1:12-scale model, while the red 6 Series coupe is 1:14-scale. Both come with steering wheel controllers, are rear-wheel drive and have four basic directional functions: forward, back, left and right.

If you’d like to take a little more control of your car, the X5 and X6 miniatures have fully proportional steering and acceleration controls, so the harder you twist the wheel or squeeze the accelerator, the more the wheels and tyres turn.

The X5 and X6 are 1:14-scale models, like the 6 Series. They have four-wheel drive and a raised ride height, so they can easily tackle small hills.

Each has alloy-effect wheels and realistic styling that's been approved by BMW. However, the cars aren’t built alongside the real things in Germany – instead, they’re licensed models made by Chinese specialist RASTAR.

The miniatures are available to buy now from selected BMW dealerships, and will soon be offered through www.bmw-shop.com for £35 each.
