Bentley
Bentley has a long and proud tradition of building luxury performance cars. Owned by the VW Group since 1998, the firm has benefited from its parent's deep pockets to modernise and expand its Crewe factory, and develop its current range of models.
Bentley Continental GT
The Bentley Continental GT blends a powerful engine, hi-tech four-wheel drive and luxurious interior with a design that harks back to Bentleys of the past. Running and purchase costs are huge, but in return you get a car that features a luxurious interior, with seating for four – just. Personalisation options are plentiful. The engines are quiet, even at motorway speeds, but the calm is upset in town as the large wheels and firm suspension cause the Continental to bump through potholes.
Bentley Continental Flying Spur
The Bentley Continental Flying Spur is the saloon version of the Continental GT. It has a larger body with more space for rear-seat passengers and their luggage. Like all Bentleys, the price and running costs are huge, but the payoff is a car that delivers supercar levels of performance with an interior that’s built from the very best materials available. The standard Flying Spur uses a 552bhp 12-cylinder engine, while in the Speed model the engine is tuned to produce 600bhp. Despite the Flying Spur's size and power, it's easy to drive. The suspension sends bumps through the cabin, which is at odds with the cabin's luxurious feel.
Bentley Continental Supersports
The Bentley Continental Supersports is the fastest model in the Continental range. The Supersports is also the best Continental GT to drive by some margin, and even at higher speeds, it remains stable and comfortable. The Supersports features a lower kerbweight, thanks to having no rear seats and lots of carbon fibre, plus a more powerful engine and uprated gearbox. Bentley also offers hundreds of paint and interior trim combinations, ensuring that every Supersports is unique.
Bentley Mulsanne
Flagship of the range is the Bentley Mulsanne. This four-door saloon mixes traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to create a luxury limousine that is as finely styled, built and engineered as any rival. It's comfortable to ride in, enjoyable to drive and extremely luxurious: the Mulsanne is a true showcase for Britain's finest craftsmen.
