Colin Chapman's original Lotus 7 was unveiled at the 1957 London Motorshow. Sold in kit form, the 7 provided amazing handling and performance with a realistic price tag. In 1974, Lotus dealership Caterham Cars bought the rights to produce the car and the uncompromising Caterham 7 was born. Current models such as the Superlight and CSR are very fast and best suited to enthusiasts.
