Very suitable for our needs. Higher seat levels - suits arthritic passenger. Hatchback + folding rear seats very versatile for load carrying. 1400cc engine gives good economical performance. Easy parking with electric mirrors helping close manoevering.

It suits us two but is difficult to get passengers inand out of rear seating This survey asks questions but rovides no opportunity for another asnswer e.g. I expect never to buy another car; i do such a small mileage, generally 5 miles per week with occasional 60 mpw that economy is unmeasured

Electronics - speedometer sensor problems also carbon monoxide sensor - both malfunctioned after about 4/5 yeras - out of warranty period!!

On the whole satisfied. 2 service dealers have been fine. Dover dealer who conducted repair a nightmare. Ford did step in and pay part of repair. Very practical and economical

Fusion; a nice idea but poorly conceived and being a ford it's not that reliable (my wife's 53 plate civic cdti has'nt had to be repaired once in twice the time), would never buy a ford again if money was'nt an issue.

First Time Starter Every time. Never had one Breakdown on the last 3 of Fusions that i have had in 9 years , Never even had a Puncture, Spare Wheel always get Returned Unused .

This is a motability car which replaced at 1.6 automatic ford focus and i wanted a smaller engine but the semi-=auto gearbox whilst practical, is not very sophisticated and doesn't change up to a higher gear very quickly.

The car itself is very acceptable, spoilt by a minor trim defect, in that the steering wheel covering flakes off from the wheel, this has been replaced twice. It happens at the same area of the steering wheel, not in a heavily used area of the wheel but at the bottom of the wheel and would appear to ber a manufacturing defect.

My 1st ford after over 40 years. I'm very pleased with it. It's short on power but has a very willing engine. Having read your tyre test my only complaint would be the poor performace of the low cost hankook tyres as fitted.

Nothing seriously wrong,but has been well maintained.VERY rough uncomfortable ride,noisy tyres ( cant hold conversations comfortably) and very hard suspension that bottoms out at more than 10mph at speed humps. Even dealer can't cure it.!!

Quite good but the est semi-automatic transmission is a disappointment - its not very smoot and reluctant to chjange to a higher gear. The hill descent feature providing engine braking is very good.

Fantastic car. Ours is treated like a baby, Ford maintained and has never let us down. We live in Spain and have travelled to the uk several times via Santander from the Costa Del Sol. It's 2004 Fusion Plus and has done 103,000 miles. It's in super condition and a pity this car is no longer made. Only normal wear and tear components have been replaced, i.e. wheel bearings etc.

It is quite honestly a very good reliable vehicle. I just had a complete shock this year at insurance costs. The road fund licence was not a barrell of laughs either. My previous car was a diesel auto, so i thought all would be ok with petrol. A not happy conversion to petrol. Never again.

My car is not flash. This car was bought to accomodate at least three people, in reasonable comfort. Reasonable power without being too uneconomic and i needed a folding seat sytem to carry items frquently. It does this and more. With regular service it has been very reliable. I was 55 when i bought this car and i knew generally it was considered an `old` persons car, but believe me younger people may well be surprised. No it dosen`t do 0 to 60 in 3/4 seconds but i believe general drivers don`t considered that a big thing when buying their transport.

Noise engine, noise power steering,nearside rear brake stuck on. Day after buying. Bad quality. Don.t think it went through a pdi inspection. Ford got get their standards high.
