Range Rover Sport
The Range Rover Sport is a very versatile car. The Range Rover Sport condenses the essence of the Range Rover into a more driver-oriented package, but it's still very good off-road. If you can live with the extrovert styling, it's a versatile luxury family car. Admittedly, it does have a thirst for fuel - especially the insanely powerful Supercharged petrol model. Unless you really feel the need for supercar rivalling acceleration, go for the entry level diesel. It's powerful and more fuel efficient.
- Good grip in corners
- Luxurious interior
- Comfortable ride
- Expensive to run
- Uncertain reliability
- Less boot space than the old model
The Range Rover Sport is a slightly smaller version of the traditional Range Rover that's both less expensive to buy and better to drive. It still isn't what you'd call a cheap car, though, because it's big, pricey and luxurious, while running costs can be very high. Anyone who drives or even just sits in one is likely to be impressed, though.
