Launched in 2009, it's the most popular body style, and a hit with fleet buyers and drivers covering plenty of motorway miles thanks to its comfortable ride and easy to use controls. But the Estate should also appeal to families - with a roomy boot and strong build quality - however the Avensis has sacrificed driving thrills in search of ease of use, and as a result will fail to entertain keen drivers.
