2020 Fiat Panda: pricing, engines, and trim levels
Fiat has revised the trim structure for the Panda line-up, which now comprises three distinct versions called Life, Sport and Cross.
Every front-wheel drive version of the Panda in Life, City Life, Sport and City Cross trims are powered by the firm’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, which features mild-hybrid assistance, producing a total power output of 69bhp.
The entry-level Panda Life is priced from £11,895, and features 14-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, a DAB radio, and a stereo with USB and MP3 playback capability.
Upgrading to the £12,595 Panda City Life spec adds 15-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, a revised front bumper design and new side skirts. Interior upgrades include a leather-trimmed steering wheel, Fiat’s Uconnect infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, and a two-tone grey trimmed upholstery.
The Panda Sport starts from £13,295, and gets a sporty looking exterior design with 16-inch alloy wheels, red painted brake calipers, rear privacy glass and an exclusive matte grey paint finish, with the option of a contrasting black roof and door mirror caps.
Inside, Sport models get a titanium dashboard panel, eco-leather door panels, a black headliner, sporty-looking seats trimmed in dark grey, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and contrasting red stitching throughout.
The revised Panda Cross range starts from £13,995. Standard equipment includes 15-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, black door mirror caps and a roof rack. The interior is trimmed in black and blue eco-leather upholstery.
Two 4x4 versions of the Panda are offered, and both are powered by Fiat’s turbocharged 0.9-litre two-cylinder TwinAir petrol engine, which produces 83bhp. The Wild 4x4 starts from £16,295 and shares the same exterior and interior features as the City Life model. It also gets a locking differential for off-roading, along with rugged-looking front and rear skid plates.
At the top of the Panda line-up, the Panda Cross 4x4 costs £17,995, and gets a terrain selection system with three selectable modes: Auto, Off-Road and Hill Descent Control. Rear parking sensors are also standard, along with electrically adjustable and heated mirrors. The exterior features black plastic body cladding and red tow hooks.
