New four-wheel-drive Skoda Enyaq iV 80x arrives

Skoda has added the Enyaq iV 80x SportLine, a new and more powerful model, to the Enyaq iV electric SUV range. The all-wheel-drive version is £46,610 and available to order now. First deliveries are expected later this year.

The 80x SportLine has a second electric motor that drives the front axle. The combined 261bhp output of the front and rear motors means that the Enyaq iV is capable of completing the 0-62mph sprint in just 6.9 seconds. The 80x model also has more pulling power than the standard rear-wheel drive SportLine model because of the extra motor. 

The car claims an official range of 303 miles and comes with 125kW rapid charging capability as standard, which means a 0-80% top-up takes just shy of 40 minutes when connected to a 150kW+ DC rapid charger. A full charge from empty will take around 13 hours when using a 7.2kW domestic wallbox.

Like the rear-wheel drive model, the 80x SportLine has the sports chassis as standard, lowering the ride height and reducing the centre of gravity to improve agility and handling. Drive Mode Select and progressive steering are also standard, while Dynamic Chassis Control is available as an option.

The 80x SportLine comes with full LED Matrix headlights as standard. Each Matrix high-beam module features 24 LEDs, which can be controlled individually and enable the driver to have the high beam on at all times without dazzling other road users. Segments of the lights turn off automatically when the clever camera on the windscreen detects vehicles, people and objects.

Inside, the 80x SportLine has black upholstery and roof lining. The dashboard is also trimmed in a black synthetic leather with grey contrasting stitching and carbon-effect details, which can also be found on the door panels.

If you opt for the SportLine Design Selection, the Enyaq iV 80x gets unique black sports seats with integrated headrests, trimmed partly in Alcantara and leather with grey piping. A three-spoke multifunction leather sports steering wheel also comes as standard.
