MG6 BTCC Special Edition 2012/2013

MG celebrates its successful return to BTCC saloon car racing with a special edition of the MG6.

To celebrate its success in the 2012 BTCC saloon car racing championship, MG has launched a special edition model of the MG6 hatchback. MG driver Jason Plato came third in the overall championship, winning six races.

The MG6 GT BTCC is equipped with a 158bhp, 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine, that can drive the car from 0-62mph in 8.4 seconds, up to a top speed of 120mph.

The BTCC edition comes with a matte-black roof, 18-inch alloys, a black-gloss finish for the door mirrors, bumpers and rear spoiler, and starts at £16,995. A BTCC badge on the front grille carries the team colours, which are used throughout the car.

Front sports seats, electric windows, rear parking sensors and sat-nav come as standard, and the BTCC is available in two colours, Union Blue and Arctic White.

Plus, anyone who buys an MG6 GT BTCC before the end of December will also get a pair of VIP hospitality tickets to a BTCC race next year, including a walk of the grid, access to the pit lane and an MG team jacket and hat.
