Sheared inlet camshaft! twice, so it is on it third engine!!! Bags of power, loads of extras, like for like on cost, no car can compare for extras. I like it but it has cost me some money and heartache. Dealer was unsympathetic to monotonous engine warning lights at £100.00 just to reset the light! The secret to success is torun the engine under 2000rpm until it has got warm, once a week run it for 10 miles at 56 mph in fourth gear, this way you will get a healthy car and better fuel econ.

This car has been an exellent purchase, it has lots power, is very practical with seven seats and as is use it to tow a caravan it does this with ease. I had to choose between the other same typse of 4x4, them being the c-crosser and outlander however the peugeot is by far better value for money and is well kitted out. The fuel economy could be better but im prepared to put up with this as it more than makes up for it in driving pleasure and space. I would certainly be looking to replace it with the same model again.
