Hot car deal: premium all-electric Mercedes EQC SUV for £326 a month

The Mercedes EQC is a mid-size SUV that offers all the refinement and comfort you’d expect from the premium German marque. It’s also extremely rapid in a straight line; its huge levels of torque instantly available and firing you forward at near-supercar pace. Granted, it’s not the most spacious inside the cabin, compared to rivals such as the Audi Q8 e-tron, nor is it the most entertaining to drive, but it has a decent real-world range and comes with generous standard kit – perfect for wafting around town and taking the odd longer journey.

What’s so good about this Mercedes EQC SUV deal? 

This deal from LeaseLoco lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £3,916.56, followed by monthly payments of £326.38 over 24 months. You can adjust the terms of the agreement if you wish; for example, increasing the annual mileage allowance to 10,000 miles means you’ll pay an extra £19 per month, with an additional £228 to the deposit amount.

The EQC offered in this particular deal comes in AMG Line Edition trim which includes 20-inch AMG alloy wheels, ‘Comfort’ suspension with self-levelling rear air suspension, a reversing camera, cruise control, heated AMG front sports seats, leather upholstery, and two 10.25-inch display screens.

Power comes from an 80kWh battery, with two electric motors producing a hefty total of 403bhp. 0-62mph is dispatched in 5.1 seconds, while Mercedes claims a range of up to 255 miles from a single charge. We didn’t find the EQC particularly efficient during our own test, and reckon the real-world range is likely to be closer to 216 miles – still decent enough, particularly as the EQC can charge from 10 to 80% in around 40 minutes at a rapid charger.

The EQC has an impressive powertrain, and provides the same familiar Mercedes build quality and usable tech that premium SUV buyers will expect. It’s fast, refined and comes packed with kit, which means as long as it’s roomy enough and possesses suitable range for your day-to-day needs, then it’s well worth a look.

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract.
