It's available as a two wheel-drive with manual transmissions only, and comes with a choice of two engines. The diesel option comes in the form of the 110bhp 2.0 TDI, which returns 52.3mpg and emissions of 140g/km.

Buyers have the choice of selecting one of four standard colours, although metallic paint carries no extra charge. The metallic paint colour options include Black Magic pearl effect, Candy White, Brilliant Silver metallic and Steel Grey metallic.

Buyers can also opt to include optional extras such as a portable DVD player with twin 9-inch screens, priced at £315.

The Skoda Yeti Urban goes on sale from the beginning of April priced at £16,900 for the 1.2 TSI petrol and £18,330 for the 2.0 TDI diesel. Production will be limited to only 750 examples.
