Subaru XV crossover prices

Subaru has announced prices for the new XV crossover SUV, starting at £21,295.

There are 11 variants offered, with a choice of three engines, including 1.6 and 2.0 petrols plus a 2.0 diesel. Trim levels include S, SE and SE Lux Premium.

All models are fitted with four-wheel drive and a choice of five and six-speed manual gearboxes or a six-speed automatic.

The 2.0-litre diesel produces 145bhp and is capable of going from 0-60mph in 9.3 seconds. In return, the XV is capable of 50.4mpg with emissions of 146g/km. Owners will face annual Road Tax of £130 with this model.

All petrol-engined XVs are fitted with stop/start as standard.

Entry-level S models come with ABS, traction control, front, side, curtain and knee airbags. The base model also features 17-inch alloy wheels, daytime LED running lights and automatic air conditioning as standard.

Upgrading to SE trim adds cruise control, a rear-view camera, Bluetooth and USB/iPod connectivity. Top spec SE Lux Premium versions get electric leather seats, a sunroof, keyless entry, push button start and sat-nav. Both 2.0-litre models are fitted with roof rails.

Top-spec 2.0D SE Lux Premium models are priced from £29,995.
