The new Skoda Octavia hatchback and estate is available to order from today, with prices ranging from £17,055 to £30,085

Along with some minor styling tweaks at the front and the rear, the new car gets new tech

Buyers will have to wait until March for the sporty new vRS 

The vRS will be available in hatch or estate bodystyles, with petrol or diesel and front or rear wheel drive

Power will be increased by 10bhp to 227bhp

The headlights are now more angular two-piece items rather than the more staid one-piece units you’ll find on the current car

Changes at the rear are less obvious

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is fitted across the range as standard

You’ll also be able to specify a raft of driving assistance systems on the new Octavia, including Trailer Assist
