The BMW 2 Series is the two-door replacement for the BMW 1 Series Coupe

It's available with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines

Power spans from 134bhp right up to 335bhp in the BMW 240i

Even the BMW 240i can return 36mpg - not bad given its huge performance

Trim levels are SE, Sport and M Sport, with all three getting lots of standard equipment

M Sport models have distinctive styling upgrades and 18-inch alloy wheels

The BMW 2 Series has a class-leading 390-litre boot which is 30 litres bigger than the BMW 1 Series

There are two rear seats, but taller adults will find headroom lacking
