Electric front drivers window works intermittently. Alternator belt (I hope that's what it is) makes awful noise in damp weather.

For health reasons I purchased the Nova having noticed many parked in Disabled Car Parking Bays. I have had the car about 9 months now and cannot fault it. The MPG going to Yorkshire and back averraged close to 49mpg which I was delighted with. I look forward to many more miles of carefree happy driving in my Nissan Note!

Ideal car for city driving and long motorway runs. Extremely practical and spacious - fits 4 adults easily plus luggage. 1.5dci engine returns 58 mpg in town driving. cheap road tax. too new to report any long term problems.

Great compact car, yet very spacious inside. Love the hidden floor in the boot which is very useful. Nissan connect sat nav and audio system is fantastic and great value for money (my main reason for choosing the n-tec grade), i was particularly impressed that i can stream music from my iphone via the bluetooth connection. There aren't many vehicles of this size which have such an intuitive integrated multimedia system like this! The car handles as well as any other i have driven and the 1.5dci engine is superb in terms of economy in particular, meaning fewer trips to the pumps which is good news to any driver! I am very pleased with my nissan note all in all and have had no problems with it whatsoever - a very well put together package indeed!

1 breakdown only; drove it 2 m then switched off engine. Would not start the next day; apparently a problem with some petrol engines such as Focus as engine management systems not allowed to complete an initial cycle.

The nissan note is a fantastic car. Build quality is excellent, although a suspension arm was creaking and required replacement; the nissan dealer dealt with the issue in outstanding fashion. The note has surpassed itself having replaced my ageing though equally excellent renault scenic; despite being smaller it has proven equal to the task and offers great flexibility despite being a relativel small car. The 1.4 engine does struggle a bit with my folding camper, but only when going uphill, and even then the gearing and free revving engine copes reasonably well and within my expectation. Great car. I would recommend one and even to a friend which as you know is quite a couragous thing to do.

I used to drive nothing else but fords from the capri right up to the mondeo. Fords have poor engines, quality build and not too reliable. Whilst nissan are superb all rounders, excellent quality and performance. A great car and manufacturer highly recommended!

Positives are its a car which is small on the outside and big on the inside plus its practical. Its good drive in town and on the motorway and the auto' box is very good. The negatives are that the build quality is not up to the mark. The dashboard rattles, the passenger seat required replacing and the engine makes a screeching sound when started on a morning for the first time. Only the passenger seat has been fixed by the dealer.

As time goes on i appreciate the note more and more. I previously owned a honda jazz automatic which i liked less and less the longer i had it. The note is just as reliable as the honda but vastly better to drive and live with.

Vg+ small practical runabout. I used it to travel to holland every week for a while, brilliant in traffic, vg build quality. Insurance good, new road tax is penalising for small car, fuel consumption is ok, 42-44 on run, 38 around town.

I've owned my Note since new, it's now done over 150,000 miles. Never let me down. Apart from 'wear and tear ' items it has been superb. With sliding rear seats this car suits my wife & my needs perfectly. Easy to drive, easy to park. We used it on numerous occasions for holidays in Switzerland. Including a 3 week French Swiss tour. I've recently tried but failed to find a car to replace it so am going to keep running it until it breaks. Hopefully 200,000 miles plus. The Note isn't a car you buy with your heart, but it has been a very good mode of transport. Which is exactly what a car should be. SUPERB.

It is a used car but I still love it. It's got more hiedy holes than the world has ever seen, it's got lots off space, it's got a big boot and it's got very good handling and it's got 140 miles per hour and it's easy to park on the drive and easy to park in a car park and got air conditioning and the visibility is no worse than a Ferrari 458 and it's a reliable family car and it's a twin to a Citroen C3 and that's the end by by ...............

We acquired this vehicle as a Motorbility vehicle for my wife. Having driven the vehicle for nearly 3 years now, I can only say that I have been very impressed. The car has been 100% reliable, with the only issue being a loose nut on an engine shield causing a vibration - easily sorted under warranty. The vehicle is comfortable, with an extremely quiet engine and sweet, smooth automatic gearchange. The rear seats are surprisingly spacious for a car of its size, and the boot is capacious and flexible with split boot floor and sliding rear seat for more boot space when required. Well equipped with sat-nav, air con and electric windows all round, plus auto lights and wipers. The first set of tyres lasted well over 20,000 miles and mpg is as manufacturer declaration. I can only say that I have been highly impressed with the Note. Any down sides? Would have liked a reach adjustable steering wheel and there is occasionally some belt noise on first start-up.

Apart from a new sunvisor and one corroding alloy wheel, both replaced under guarantee and regular maintenance, the only thing to go wrong in 70k miles has been 3 new lightbulbs. Reliability fantastic!
