My DS 3 has had too many problems. The first was the roof sticking in one position and not wanting to close. The next was the passenger seat not clicking back into position. Then came the timing chain at about 20,000 miles. After I complained profusely, Citroen agreed to waive the £1000 bill. Then I had ignition and misfiring problems, which AA said was caused by the coils, so I had all 4 changed. It happened again so I had all the spark plugs changed. It happened again and after taking it to Citroen for diagnosis was informed that the petrol pump had failed. After much more protest Citroen agreed to pay half the £1,000 bill. Now after a few more problems and Citroen having another look they have informed me that the rocker cover gasket has failed and the engine needs de-coking. Another £1,000. Time to sell.
