An updated Jeep Compass has been revealed, and is available to order from Jeep showrooms now. The refreshed model gets a new six-speed automatic gearbox, as well as a range of new equipment for 2014.
The new Jeep Compass comes in three specifications: Sport, the new North version, and the top-spec Limited version. Engines include a 161bhp 2.2-litre diesel, a 2.4-litre petrol with 168bhp and a 2.0-litre petrol that gets 154bhp. It’s available in black, white, silver, blue, ‘Maximum Steel’ and ‘Granite Chrystal’ (top-spec models only).
A new six-speed automatic gearbox is available for the 2.4-litre and 2.0-litre petrol engines, which Jeep claims has been designed to improve performance by making smoother gear changes.
