i20 Blue is greenest Hyundai available
The new Hyundai i20 Blue CRDi diesel is the lowest CO2 emitting vehicle in the brand's UK line-up, even out-performing the smaller Hyundai i10.
Priced at £13,195 on-the-road, the Hyundai i20 Blue emits 98g/km of CO2 making it the greenest car available from the Korean brand. The four-door hatchback is also Road Tax and London Congestion Charge exempt.
Out-performing even the Hyundai i10 Blue, the i20 Blue is based on the exisiting i20 Comfort trim level featuring a 90bhp, 1.4-litre CRDi diesel engine, capable of returning 76.4mpg on the combined cycle.
Through use of Intelligent Stop & Go (ISG), low rolling resistance tyres and covered rear suspension and wheel deflectors, the i20 Blue has managed to achieve a 12% reduction in in CO2 emissions over similarly engined models.
These figures relate to incredibly low running costs. For example, to fill the petrol tank of the Hyundai i20 Blue with diesel would cost approximately £63, resulting in a range of 755 miles.
Standard equipment on all i20 Blue models includes, alloy wheels, Bluetooth, electric door mirrors, electric windows, USB port and air conditioning. All new Hyundai cars come with a five year warranty which includes roadside assistance and annual vehicle health checks.
