MINI's fifth model, the sporty new Coupe will make it's world premier at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week.
The first two-seater in the range, the Coupe features a lower roof design compared with the Hatch and a practical, sloping rear hatch providing access to a 280-litre boot.
Available from launch with the choice of four engines, including the 122bhp Cooper, the 143bhp Cooper SD, the 184bhp Cooper S and the 211bhp John Cooper Works version.
In Cooper SD form the MINI Coupe has a combined fuel economy of 66mpg, whilst the performance flagship JCW version can go from 0-62mph in 6.4 seconds.
All models feature an extending rear spoiler and a wide through-loading facility linking the cabin and luggage compartment.
