New Renault Clio prices revealed
Renault has confirmed its all-new Clio will start at £10,595
Renault has announced prices and specs for its all-new Clio supermini, which goes on sale in November.
Available as a five-door hatch only, the new Clio is wider, longer, lower and lighter than the car it replaces, while including more equipment.
The Renault Clio range starts at £10,595 for the petrol-powered entry-level 1.2-litre Expression model and runs to £16,095 for the top turbodiesel Dynamique S MediaNav model. The new car’s pricing makes it cheaper than the previous five-door model, but more expensive than the three-door versions.
The basic Renault Clio Expression model gets Bluetooth and USB connectivity, cruise control and daytime running lights as standard. There’s plenty of safety kit, too, including side and curtain airbags, stability control and hill-start assist.
For £11,995, buyers can specify the Expression+ trim, which adds 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning and front foglights. Sporty Dynamique trim starts at £12,995 and adds black gloss and chrome trim, auto lights and wipers, 7-inch touchscreen sat-nav and a leather steering wheel.
At the top of the Clio line-up is the Dynamique S MediaNav. This gets 17-inch alloy wheels, climate control and electric rear windows. A centre armrest, rear parking sensors and electric folding door mirrors are also standard with prices starting at £14,995 for the three-cylinder turbocharged petrol.
All Renault Clios, apart from the base-spec Expression, get a range of petrol and diesel engines – including the economical 1.5-litre four-cylinder ECO diesel, which emits just 83g/km of CO2.
