New SEAT Ibiza
SEAT release images of updated Ibiza supermini, including details of all-new ST FR estate.
SEAT's facelifted Ibiza showcases the Spanish firm's latest design language - most apparent in the front grille, headlights, air intakes and bumpers.
The updates also include a range of more efficient engines and a re-designed interior.
Available in three familiar body styles, buyers will be offered a choice of three-door, five-door and ST estate variants.
Almost all engines are more efficient, including the 1.2 TDI Ecomotive unit that sees emissions drop from 92g/km to 89g/km and fuel economy increase from 80.7mpg to 83.1mpg.
At the other end of the scale, the 1.4 TSI offers a standard-fit DSG paddle-shift transmission and a peak power figure of 150 bhp, good enough for a 0-62mph time of 7.8 seconds. The new Ibiza range will include the 1.4 TSI ST estate version, creating an all-new model - the Ibiza ST FR.
The new SEAT Ibiza is scheduled for launch in the UK in the spring of 2012. Prices and full UK specifications will announced nearer to launch. For more information visit www.seat.co.uk
