Porsche Panamera Diesel launched
Porsche's new Panamera Diesel goes on sale in August 2011 and claims a 745 mile range.
It's the most efficient Porsche ever built. Aimed directly at UK buyers, the rear-wheel-drive only Panamera Diesel is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged engine producing 250 hp and 500Nm of torque. Capable of returning 43.5mpg and with an 80-litre fuel tank, maximum range is an impressive 745 miles- a figure that can be extended if the optional lower rolling resistance tyres are selected.
Emitting just 172g/km of CO2 the new Panamera Diesel will cost £265 to tax on UK roads and can cover the 0-62mph sprint in 6.8 seconds with a top speed of 150 mph.
Priced from £62,134 the new Diesel model has a high level of standard specification that includes leather interior, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Bi-Xenon headlights, front and rear ParkAssist, tyre pressure monitoring, Porsche Communication Management with touch-screen satellite navigation and audio controls, cruise control and a three year warranty.
The Panamera Diesel will be on sale in the UK from August 2011.
