Renault extends Clio Gordini range

Renault has added two more Clio's to the Gordini special edition line-up- the 1.6 VVT 128 petrol model and the 1.5 dCi 106 diesel model.

Offering buyers better fuel consumption and lower running costs than the Gordini Renaultsport Clio 200, the latest petrol model is priced at £14,000. Featuring a slightly detuned version of the 1.6-litre engine found in the Twingo Renaultsport 133, The Clio Gordini 128 is capable of 0-62mph in 9.3 seconds and 42.2mpg.

Secondly, the Renault Clio Gordini 106 features a 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine and a six-speed manual gearbox. With a top speed of 119mph the diesel model is capable of 62.8mpg and emits only 110g/km of CO2 resulting in an annual tax bill of £20. Prices start at £14,950.

Both models offer the usual Gordini styling featuring twin white racing stripes, white electric folding door mirrors, Gordini badges, 16” Turini alloy wheels, body colour rear spoiler and twin tailpipe exhausts. On the inside the Gordini treatment continues with the usual array of branded detailing.

Either models are available in Glacier White, Malta Blue, Pearl Black or Ruby Red and are available to order now.
