Volkswagen Amarok Canyon Special Edition
A look at the Volkswagen Amarok Canyon Special Edition, which goes on sale in 2013.
This is the Volkswagen Amarok Canyon Special Edition, which goes on sale in 2013. The Canyon is closely based on a rugged pick-up truck concept car that VW displayed at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in March.
The Amarok Canyon Special Edition is based on the Trendline specification, and features exclusive Copper Orange paintwork. Silver, grey and beige exterior colours can also be specified. The Canyon also features darkened rear light clusters, wheelarches in contrasting black and the wording ‘Canyon’ on the doors and rear hatch. The look is completed by a set of 17-inch alloy wheels with all terrain tyres.
Inside, the Amarok gets partial leather, two-colour upholstery on the seats. The Amarok Canyon is available with both TDI engines, in combination with permanent or on-demand 4Motion four-wheel drive. Options include a lamp bar for the roof with four extra headlights and a hard-top canopy cover for the rear deck.
