VW Tiguan R-Line announced
A sporty R-Line trim level has been added to the Volkswagen Tiguan range.
Volkswagen has added a sporty new trim level to its Tiguan SUV range.
The Tiguan R-Line model disappeared from the line-up when the compact 4x4 was facelifted recently, having accounted for a quarter of all Tiguan sales.
It adds xenon headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels and a unique R-Design bodykit. This includes aggressive bumpers, beefy side skirts and special black wheel-arch extensions.
Inside, there's new two-tone sports seats and a multi-function steering wheel, as well as R-Design detailing throughout the cabin.
It's available with the current Tiguan line-up's three most powerful engines, consisting of one petrol and two diesels. All models come with a six-speed manual gearbox and all emit less than 200g/km of CO2.
Prices start from £28.020 for the 138bhp 2.0-litre diesel, with deliveries set to begin early next year.
