Volvo V40 R-Design and V40 Cross Country prices announced
Volvo confirms pricing for V40 R-Design and V40 Cross Country
Volvo has announced pricing for two new derivatives of its V40 hatchback – the V40 R-Design and V40 Cross Country.
The R-Design is the sportiest-looking Volvo V40 yet, and gets a more aggressive bodykit, restyled bumpers and special 17-inch Ixion alloy wheels. Inside all R-Design cars get embossed upholstery, a sports steering wheel and pedals and special blue dials.
For a bit of extra luxury, customers can specify the R-Design Lux trim, which gets xenon headlights, leather seats, cruise control and keyless start.
Prices begin at £22,295 for the V40 D2 R-Design and despite the additional equipment and uprated alloy wheels; the entry-level car maintains its class-leading 94g/km emissions. Flagship T5 Geartronic R-Design Lux Nav cars are available from £31,390.
The Volvo V40 is now also available in Cross Country spec, which has a more rugged appearance and increased ground clearance. Entry-level Cross Country SE cars start at £22,595 and equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic wipers, and silver roof rails.
As with the R-Design, the V40 Cross Country can be specified in Lux spec, which adds 17-inch wheels, xenon lights and leather seats. The range-topping T5 Geartronic Lux Nav is the only model to be offered with four-wheel-drive, and costs £33,875.
Both the R-Design and V40 Cross Country are available to order now, with first deliveries in January.
