VW Polo R Line now on sale
The sporty-looking VW Polo R Line is available to order now.
The Volkswagen Polo R Line is a sporty addition to the range, offering the looks of the Polo GTI, but with lower running costs.
On the outside, the Polo R Line features sporty front and rear bumpers, a gloss black radiator grille with R Line badges, wider side sills and 16-inch ‘Mallory’ alloy wheels.
In the cabin, the R Line model is fitted with sports seats, aluminium scuff plates and pedal covers, plus a leather-trimmed three-spoke steering wheel.
Standard equipment includes a six-speaker stereo with radio/CD player and Aux-in, air-conditioning, a multifunction trip computer, electric windows, height adjustable front seats, electric heated door mirrors, a tyre pressure monitor and remote central locking.
Only one engine is available in R Line trim, the 105bhp 1.2-litre TSI petrol with a six-speed manual gearbox. It is capable of 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds and has a top speed of 118mph.
The Polo R Line returns 53.3mpg and produces emissions of 124g/km.
Prices start at £15,195 for the three-door, and the five-door model is priced from £15,815. It's available to order now, but first customer deliveries are due in July.
