A family sized performance car that looks nice and feels great to drive. Service costs can be expensive but with the the excellent reliability and build quality extra maintenance costs are kept to a minimum.

Superb performance car, car of decade in 1999. High fuel consumption but i have my wife's diesel fabia for long or economy journeys. Live adjacent to north yorkshire mores and pennines where performance can be used and 4wd in the snow, mud & 30% hills. Problem with brakes was that after 16 years the pistons were sticking in callipers; ebc, the brake people refurbished them superbly and brakes now work again - i did brake maintenance. Brilliant local specialist garage do major servicing, champions of castleton, n yorkshire.

Fantastic performance and handling but thirsty on the gas. A bit small for a young family but willing to sacrifice the room for the benefits of four wheel drive and rally car performance.

I have had the car in secure storage and for the last 3+ years just periodically running it and the only problem has been a stuck window motor in all that time and nothing in the time previously.

It has surpassed all my expectations a perfect blend of performance, 4 wheel drive in a 'go anywhere' family car and for a seven year old car the only part that has failed (excl. tyres & exhaust parts) was a rear shock absorber!.......incredible japanese reliability!

Coming up to 100,000 miles and still drives and feels new. Apart from consumables the only repairs have been front brake callipers and one rear shock absorber.

This my third impreza turbo. It has the prodrive pack on it which although performance is increased substantially it is more economical than the previous car. (previous one was sold at 104000 miles with no spend other than routine maintenance.

Ecellent exciting car, build quality could be better, but i did know exactly what i was buying..... basically, a road legal go-kart, that makes you smile everytime you go out in it. There's been a few niggly problems that have been annoying ie knocking rear suspension mounts (everyone complains of the same problem) there should have been a recall, also over-torqued brake caliper bolts, causing the bolt to thread inside the caliper (again, there's been numerous complaints) other than that i feel i've got alot of car for my money, and i would definetely consider owning another newer version of my car.

Best car i have owned. Bought new 10 years ago, there's nothing on the market suitable to replace it. Only failure has been a dashboard (time) clock. Only disappointment is the poor fuel consumption.
