DS 3 Crossback owner reviews
"The DS 3 is a funky small SUV available with petrol, diesel or electric power. It's good to drive, but could do with a bit more interior space"

Having had the opportunity of a 24 hour test drive we were stunned with the DS3 Crossback. Driving a DS5 I’ve experienced perfect reliability but after three years it was time to change. I was concerned that the DS3 might be too small but the clever positioning of the vents on the doors and the high roof meant there was plenty of room for someone over 6". The boot swallowed two suitcases with ease and with excellent cupholders, good centre armrest storage and door bins meant there was plenty of room inside for all the bits and pieces needed. The phone charging plate was easy to work with and the interior is just a joy to use. I found the controls logical and its large displays impressed everyone who saw it. Like the DS5 it is just a very special place to sit in. I was impressed with the excellent visibility and it was good to see a bonnet again which meant positioning the car was so easy without all the driver aids that just inspire confidence. With a good ride and a really responsive engine (we had the 155hp which had a fabulous sound when accelerating) quick responsive town driving was great, country roads were fun and motorway driving was totally relaxed while having the verve to pass any traffic which made it feel so safe. I was amazed to average over 59mpg on the motorway while town use brought this down to 47 for a petrol car that is not run in yet, I thought this was really good. However, the best bit (only just after the dash!) is the exterior. We picked up so many looks and glances the Crossback just looks so good on the road. Seen in the showroom it looked small, but out on the road it matches all its competitors and delivers small car manoeuvrability with a big car feel. If there was a prize for the sexiest car, the rear of the DS3 would certainly win, the strong light design and sweeping indicators just emphasise this. While at the front the pearl driving lights and amazing led vision headlights took all the strain out of night driving and look great into the bargain. There are many great cars around but few that make you feel as good as this one!
