After having my car for two years I will be glad to see the back end of it. I've had nothing but problem after problem since beginning of the year - it's been off the road more than its been on the road, first two weeks I had it the car needed new injectors. Then a month later the Egr valve packed up, plus major starting problems, so it's now had two expensive services, it eats tyres. It needed new disks all round for its mot plus required a new set calipers as they were seized, costing a small fortune. It's off the road again with engine issues I won't ever have a mazda again never in two years it's had almost 4000 pounds spent on it by the finance company the warranty company and myself this is a bad car.

DMF very expensive to replace lasted only 3 years. headlights need replacing due to brackets which secure bulbs broken, unable to buy clips headlights £250 each Front tyres wear to quick ,Pipes at front of car corroded brake fluid holder leaks (plastic) Electric coil to replace very poor on electric problems. All shock absorbers replaced twice. Cigerette lighters both not working Electrics poor, Must have been put together on a Monday morning

Never ever buy Mazda, since I've bought this one all I've had is problems. My Mazda has DPF on it and it doesn't matter how many miles you do, the DPF filter will get clogged and will cause engine problems. I know a lot of people who have Mazdas and they all had problems.

We bought the Mazda to replace a horrifically unreliable VW Sharan and it has been totally reliable, it's comfortable and good to drive. Only downsides are mpg is poor for a modern car averaging 33 mpg on local runs, but it is much better on long runs. Front tyres last 12k -15k regardless of what make you buy and this seems normal on this car and lastly some of the plastics are a little low rent - more Lidl than Ikea. But a good car that I would recommend - unlike it s VW predecessor

This is the worst car I have had for reliability compared with previous older Mazdas. Items like wheels , shock absorbers, have all had to be replaced. My previuos 12yr old Mazdas have never had this problem.
