After endless teasers and drip-feed reveals, the BMW Z4 is in showrooms. Only available as a convertible with an automatic gearbox, the Z4 shares a lot of parts with the coupe-only Toyota Supra (below). While there’ll be no M Performance version of the Z4, the range-topping M40i features 335bhp - surely enough for most buyers.

Ferrari F8 Tributo

Ferrari revealed its latest supercar at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The F8 Tributo is essentially a thorough re-working of the Ferrari 488 GTB, and it now produces 710bhp from its 3.9-litre V8 engine. 0-62mph takes just 2.9 seconds, and it offers a power-to-weight ratio similar to the Bugatti Chiron.
