BMW M850i xDrive Coupe First Edition limited to 10 UK customers

Just 10 UK owners will be able to get hold of the ultra-exclusive BMW M850i xDrive Coupe First Edition, a car costing a cool £121,995 and one finished in a special Frozen Barcelona Blue metallic paintwork.

Complementing the BMW Individual paintwork are gloss black window surrounds and kidney grille. Even the tailpipes and 20-inch alloy wheels are finished in Jet Black for a stealthy look, while a carbon roof and exterior pack add a motorsport-inspired look.

Inside, BMW has raided its Individual catalogue, fitting full Merino leather upholstery in contrasting Ivory White and Night Blue, along with a leather steering wheel and Alcantara roof lining, which is also finished in Night Blue. The centre console has a black piano finish and First Edition numbered plaque, while technology includes a Bowers and Wilkins surround sound stereo, and glass inlays for the start/stop button, iDrive controller, volume control and gearlever.

There shouldn't be much need to consult the options list because the Visibility, Technology and Premium packs are all included.

Under the bonnet of the M850i xDrive sits a twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine with 523bhp mated to an eight-speed Steptronic sports automatic gearbox. This gets the luxurious 8 Series Coupe from 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 155mph. The First Edition will go on sale in June, with a total of 400 scheduled for production.
