Chevrolet Trax prices announced
The new Chevrolet Trax will cost from £15,495.
The Chevrolet Trax small SUV will be available from Chevrolet dealerships from July, starting from £15,495.
The Trax will be available in two specification levels, LS and LT, priced at £15,495 and £17,495 respectively.
LT models will include Chevrolet’s new connected radio technology, Chevrolet MyLink, which aggregates content from smartphones onto a seven-inch high resolution full-colour touchscreen. That means easy access to personal playlists, photo galleries and phonebooks. It also supports TuneIn internet radio, Siri Eyes Free and the BringGo navigation app. There will also be USB ports and aux-sockets, while a 230V socket can be used for charging laptops and other devices without an adaptor.
Through MyLink, drivers with compatibile iPhones or Apple products running iOS 6 can use Siri to perform tasks while keeping their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel.
The engine range includes, a 140bhp 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol with a six-speed manual gearbox, a 115bhp 1.6-litre petrol with a five-speed manual and a 130bhp 1.7-litre diesel with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. All manuals come with stop-start technology, while all models can be ordered with either front or all-wheel drive. With stop-start, Chevrolet expects CO2 emissions to start as low as 120g/km.
