Efficient Audi A5 TDIe models launched
The Audi A5 Coupe and A5 Sportback are now available with fuel-saving TDIe diesel engines.
The Audi A5 Coupe is offered with a 2.0-litre 163bhp TDIe engine, capable of 64mpg and emissions of 115g/km - now the cleanest model in the A5 range. Prices for the A5 coupe TDIe start at £28,775.
The Audi A5 Sportback is available with a choice of two 2.0-litre TDIe engines in 136bhp or 163bhp forms, returning 64mpg and 63mpg respectively. The new engines produce emissions of 117g/km and 118g/km, and are priced from £27,320.
All TDIe models come with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard.
In addition to the new engines, all four-cylinder TDI-engined models are now available in a new trim, called SE Technik. It's offered as a £1,000 premium over the SE Sportback or £500 over the SE coupe, and adds sat-nav, Audi Music Interface (AMI) iPod connection, front and rear parking sensors and cruise control.
SE models come with 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seats, climate control and Bluetooth as standard.
