New BMW 3 Series Touring
BMW has released prices and specs for the new 3 Series Touring estate.
The new BMW 3 Series Touring estate model is now available to order, with prices starting at £29,380.
The new car is based on the current BMW 3 Series saloon, and is larger than its predecessor, offering a 495-litre boot - 35 litres larger than before. With the rear seats folded flat, the boot extends to a class-leading 1500 litres.
On the outside, the new model features a sloping roofline and rear spoiler, along with L-shaped wrap around rear lights.
All models are fitted with a powered tailgate as standard, with an optional hands-free opening feature, activated by ‘kicking’ underneath the rear bumper with your foot. The tailgate also splits, allowing the upper glass area to open and close independently.
Three engines are available from launch including the 320d, 330d and 328i. The 320d is capable of 60mpg and produces emissions of 124g/km. The most powerful model, the 330d, is capable of 0-62mph in 5.6 seconds.
The 316d, 318d and 320i will also be available later in the year.
The 3 Series Touring is available in six trims: ES, SE Sport, Luxury, Modern and range-topping M Sport.
All models come with alloy wheels, air-conditioning, a 6.5-inch colour screen with iDrive control, keyless start, cruise control, Driver Performance Control featuring Eco Pro mode, a USB port and 40:20:40 split rear seats.
