SEAT Toledo prices announced

Prices have been announced for the new SEAT Toledo, as the family car returns to the UK after a four-year absence.

The Skoda Rapid rival will start at £12,495 when deliveries commence in December.

The entry-level car will get 15-inch steel wheels, electric front windows and an aux input as standard. Upgrading to the S model adds air conditioning, Bluetooth and a trip computer, while flagship SE cars get 16-inch alloy wheels and climate control.

Options include parking sensors, a touchscreen sat-nav and DAB. Buyers can also specify the Winter pack, which adds heated seats, headlight washers and heated front washer nozzles, whilehe Comfort pack includes cruise control, front fog lights and tinted rear windows.

Engine options include the 1.2-litre TSI petrol and 1.6-litre TDI diesel – both with Ecomotive Technology – the latter of which will manage 72.4mpg and emit just 104g/km of CO2. The base-spec car can also be specified with a naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 74bhp.
