Vauxhall Zafira Tourer prices revealed
Vauxhall announce prices of the new Zafira Tourer MPV.
Unveiled at Frankfurt earlier this week, the all-new Vauxhall Zafira Tourer will be priced from £21,000 when it goes on sale in the UK in early 2012.
Priced £1,200 less than the entry-level Ford S-MAX, Vauxhall is hoping the impressive level of standard equipment will attract buyers towards the new Zafira Tourer MPV.
The entry level 1.8-litre Zafira Tourer ES comes with air conditioning, cruise control, MP3/Aux In connections, seven-speaker sound system, and a highly flexible seven-seater layout, called Flex7.
Above the ES, the Exclusiv, SRi, SE and Elite trims complete the range.
Two new engines join the line-up- a 1.4 petrol turbo and a 2.0 diesel offered in three different power outputs, one of which will be the cleanest variant available producing 119g/km of CO2. A further 1.8 petrol engine will also be available.
Sharing several chassis components with the Insignia, the new Zafira Tourer is 190mm longer than the compact MPV Zafira and will offer the brand's FlexRide adaptive suspension system as a customer option.
Safety features on the new model will include six airbags, Traffic Sign Recognition, Side Blind Spot Alert and Advance Park Assist.
