Today’s hot car deal: stylish and super-affordable Peugeot 2008 for just £151 per month

Our hot, New Year deal for 2 January is a budget-friendly Peugeot 2008 compact SUV for just £151 per month

Peugeot 2008 deal

The Peugeot 2008 is a striking-looking small SUV that really catches the eye when out on the road, while its smart cabin and excellent build quality just add to its desirability. The example we’ve found here is actually a pre-facelift model from 2023, but considering the model’s recent makeover was nothing more than a minor couple of tweaks, we think this deal offers great value for money.

What’s so good about this Peugeot 2008 deal?

This deal lets you cover up to 5,000 miles a year with an initial payment of £1,822.92 (plus an arrangement fee of £294), then 24 monthly payments of £151.91. If you up the mileage to 10,000 a year, then the initial payment rises to £2,051.40 plus the arrangement fee, with the monthly payments still a very reasonable £170.95.

The 2008 delivers a great balance of good looks, impressive equipment levels and useful practicality without breaking the bank. As we mentioned above, this is a pre-facelift model which has been pre-registered by the dealer, but it’s still a brand new car that is a bit of a bargain at this price.

Along with kit such as 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors and cruise control, the Allure trim offers niceties such as automatic air conditioning, a leather-trimmed multi-function steering wheel and carbon-effect interior accents. But, the 2008’s real party piece is its digital i-Cockpit set-up with a 10-inch touchscreen and configurable head-up instrument panel.

This particular 2008 has a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine providing a healthy 129bhp, and it’ll accelerate from 0-62mph in 8.9 seconds via its six-speed manual gearbox. When you consider that it’ll also return fuel consumption of more than 50mpg (WLTP combined), it’s clear that the 2008 is a great family option.

What’s so good about the Peugeot 2008?

Peugeot has succeeded in making its 2008 compact SUV feel like a quality choice. It's refined on the motorway, with a level of fit and finish in the cabin that elevates it above a lot of other rivals. Its low running costs along with a reassuring top safety rating help complete an impressive package.

Anything else I need to know about this deal?

This is a lease deal, often referred to as Personal Contract Hire (PCH), so there’s no option to buy the car at the end of the contract. You are effectively renting the car for the two-year term, but the deal is very flexible so you can adjust the term length, mileage limit and initial payment size to suit but only at the outset. Once the deal is over, you just hand the keys back and start looking for your next car.

Our hot deals are carefully selected by our car buying experts and they are all subject to change. Always read the full terms and conditions and make sure the car and the deal suits your needs before proceeding.
