"The entry-level Porsche Boxster is arguably the best all-rounder in the range. It remains one of the best-handling cars money can buy."

Beautiful to drive but 2 issues: intermittent "jumping" of front end on full lock whilst reversing or slow turn ( dealer says this is normal); reverse gear selection requires high force to pass stop. Earlier 2002 model exhibited excessive "jumping". 2008 model was fine. Expected 2013 to be free of this annoying issue.

Not suitable for my lifestyle. Wife hates it (noisy, claustrophobic). Changing to jaguar xf. Undoubtedly a fantastic car if you have the driving opportunity, but not a good motorway commuter.

A brilliant car - far more practical than any other 2 seat sports car i've seen, in part due to the dual boots. Quick, very rewarding when pushed, but also easy to drive round town. Our next car will be a newer boxster s.

Done 22,000 miles over 3 years. Fantastic sport car. docile in traffic. turns into an animal when on open roads. engine changes from being almost nothing to a roar. low centre of gravity and mid-engine makes cornering magical. firm suspension but comfortable. chose manual for more direct control. reasonable economical. but watch your right foot. feel special in the cabin with luxury environment. wind noise not too bad with top down but more buffeting than my mini. very reliable save an annoying rattle from the dash on rough roads. Glad I got the 6 pots engine rather than the upcoming 4.

Car is FANTASTIC as a motorway cruiser, but would not use it as a "shopping trolley", too thirsty. I have an issue with the invoice (regarding spec shown but Porsche will sort this out i am sure). Bought car second-hand (one month old) from specialist who relied on the original invoice to advertise the car on Autotrader. No pvts fitted. (and what else is missing?) Will keep you informed...

My 2009 2.9 boxster provides a car that has unrivalled build quality, great performance and a fantastic ownership experience. What’s more, and i never thought id hear myself say this about a car dealer; but the service and professionalism of porsche centre in leeds (both pre and post purchase) was/is brilliant – 5 stars.
