Didn't plan on buying an XK as I was looking to trade my XF for another one, but was such a good deal the wife talked me into it. Managed to pick up a 2 year old XKR with 6k miles on the clock for 45k which, when compared to the competition (Aston, Porsche etc.) is a bit of a bargain. So far I don't have any major complaints apart from it having the same entertainment system as the 2009 XF I traded up from and sadly also the same sat-nav which is truly terrible and has cost me many hours sitting in traffic - it doesn't seem to understand city centres are busy during rush hour....but that's a minor as it's such a nice place to sit. Performance is really good, especially the 1.7 second 50-70mph which is great for overtaking and beats pretty much everything else on the road. Running costs are high but getting around 24mpg (used to get 34mpg in my old 3 litre v6 diesel XF) which is actually better than I was expecting. Sadly they don't make the XK anymore and the F-type felt a bit cramped and not very Jag-esque when I test drove one. So would reccomend if you want a great GT car without the price tag of a Bentley or DB9. The XK is well worth a look.

Beautiful styling and great performance. The xkr is a good mix of performance and style with plenty of power and enough comfort to make a super car into an everyday car. I love it.

Brilliant car. Never ever get passed on the Motorway. Lol picked up only 3 pts. Just. Well apart from the year before when I did the course. Car never seems to want to go under 85mph? look after it and it'll look after you. Definitely a future classic. The 2nd E Type.

Looks and drives really well. Not very practical, rear seats useless, should have left them out and made the boot bigger. Cheaper to buy & run than you might expect.

Fantastic looking car, enormous almost frightening/overpowering performance - still getting used to it after two months of ownership. Some niggles with operation and ergonomics - not as good as my previous bmws. Steering much lighter than i'm used to - would have preferred more weight/feel. Ride quality much better than my run flat equipped bmws. In car technology also lags behind bmw/audis/mercs although latest xj seems much better. Yet to try out servicing - however, fixed cost for first 3 services (once a year or every 15000 miles whichever is sooner) seems quite good.
