Ford Mustang and Edge confirmed for UK

The new One Ford product plan will see the next Ford Mustang and Ford Edge SUV offered in the UK in right-hand-drive form for the first time.

The company has also confirmed that the Ford EcoSport small SUV, based on the Ford Fiesta, will arrive here in March 2014. Plus, an all-new Ford Kuga SUV will roll out at the end of this year. The much-anticipated next-generation Mustang will be available in Europe from 2015.

Meanwhile, the new Ford Tourneo Connect MPV targets the people carrier market, promising outstanding space, practicality, best-in-class economy and reduced emissions. The Tourneo Connect will be available from next year as both a five-seater and a seven-seater Grand Tourneo Connect, with sliding rear doors, flexible seating and smart stowage areas.

Finally, the company also announced that the Ford Focus Electric will go on sale in 2013.
